About Us

Who We Are

Faith in Our Hands is a Christian initiative dedicated to confronting domestic violence with clarity, courage, and compassion. We believe that faith is not passive it is something we hold, shape, and live out. When placed “in our hands,” faith becomes a force for protection, justice, and healing. Our work empowers survivors, equips churches, and strengthens communities to respond to abuse in ways that honour both Scripture and human dignity.

Our Mission

Our mission is to ensure that no one faces violence alone. We provide theologically grounded resources, practical safety guidance, and pastoral tools that help believers recognise abuse, respond wisely, and support survivors long‑term. We challenge harmful interpretations of endurance and submission, replacing them with a Gospel‑centred vision of safety, justice, and covenantal love.

Our Vision

We envision a Christian community where faith is lived out through protection, justice, and love. A community where survivors are believed, abusers are held accountable, and Scripture is interpreted in ways that uphold human dignity. A community where the Gospel is embodied not through silent suffering but through courageous compassion.

Our Commitment to Churches

We equip pastors and leaders to respond with wisdom rather than quick fixes. This includes training in trauma‑informed care, guidance on church discipline, and tools for recognising the signs of abuse. We help churches move beyond the careless mentality that prioritises the institution of marriage over the wellbeing of the people within it. Our goal is to cultivate communities where safety is sacred and accountability is non‑negotiable.
